UK: New offices in Ireland and Scotland

In April and May, HSBC Private Bank (UK) Ltd celebrated its expansion into Ireland and Scotland with parties at the historic Mansion House in central Dublin and Lennoxlove House in East Lothian, respectively.

Attending the launch in Dublin, Group CEO Michael Geoghegan said: "HSBC's push into private banking reflects the phenomenal increase in personal and business wealth that Ireland has experienced over the past few years. We're building capacity here to meet increasing demand for international wealth management services that offer best-in-class investment solutions."

At Lennoxlove House, Director Joss Mitchell, who is spearheading HSBC Private Bank's new Scottish presence, said: "HSBC has its roots in Scotland and we are now here to provide the sort of global perspective that wealthy clients expect in their financial advisors. We have always operated in Scotland but now we are physically closer and able to provide the personal access which is vital in private banking."

The UK private bank now has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds and Manchester, as well as Ireland and Scotland. The main UK office in St James's Street, London.
