HSBC Private Bank wins two 'Outstanding' awards
22 November 2005
HSBC Private Bank clinched two coveted accolades in Singapore yesterday, winning the Most Outstanding Private Bank in the Asia Pacific region and Outstanding Private Banker of 2005 for chief executive Clive Bannister.
The Global Private Banking awards were accepted by the chief executive of HSBC Private Bank in Singapore, Kenneth Sit.
In a statement, Clive Bannister said: "It is a great honour for me to acknowledge these two awards on behalf of the HSBC Group and the HSBC Private Bank. It is a testament to our entire private banking team of over 5,700 professionals in some 70 locations across the world, managing client funds of over US$330bn. This award is really for our clients because it is their talents that have given us the opportunity to support them with a high level of service using 'open architecture' to put our offshore investment solutions at their disposal.
"HSBC's commitment, knowledge and passion for Asia needs no advertisement. My 1000 professional colleagues in HSBC Private Bank in Asia are individually and collectively the face of our commitment, knowledge and passion through their consistent and reliable service to our long standing clients and their families worldwide. Singapore has provided an excellent base, and has allowed us to rapidly grow and serve the region both as a Group - the world's local Bank; and as a Private Bank."
The 15th annual Global Private Banking awards were organised by the international wealth management publication, Private Banker International, part of VRL Publishing.
