HSBC Private Bank website tops Datamonitor report

Business intelligence provider Datamonitor has ranked HSBC Private Bank's public Internet as top for "overall use as a marketing tool" in its recent report, "Private Banks on the Internet".

Also commended in the report was the website's quality of design and appearance and usefulness of information for prospective customers.

The report, published in November 2004, assessed the current and potential role of the online channel for wealth managers and how they can best incorporate the Internet into their propositions.
