HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA first opened its seasonal office in St Moritz in 2003 to cater for clients who enjoy spending their winter vacation in this stunning ski resort. St Moritz has always been one of the crowning jewels among Switzerland's many ski resorts and attracts a multicultural clientele.

More than 30 clients and guests celebrated the opening of the HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA seasonal office in St Moritz at the Opening Cocktail Party on 30 December.

The following week, HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA took part in the annual Russian Christmas event held at the five-star hotel, Badrutt's Palace. The Russian Orthodox Church celebrates its Christmas on 7 January, 13 days after the Western Christmas and in accordance with the old Julian calendar.

The Russian Christmas event took place on 6 January with 260 guests in attendance. Following a welcoming cocktail, the guests sat down to a four-course meal and a fashion and jewellery show presented by the French couture house, Chanel. Guests were then entertained by music from Moscow-renowned deejay, DJ Mitch.
