HSBC Private Bank honoured at Spear's Russia Wealth Management Awards 2009

On November 26 HSBC Private Bank was honoured at the prestigious Spear's Wealth Management Awards Russia, receiving the 'Best Start of the Year' award for the launch of HSBC's private banking business in Russia in June 2009.

Natalia Solodovnikova, Head of HSBC Private Bank in Russia, said "We are thrilled to receive this award, especially as it reflects all the hard work that the bank’s team put into launching our private bank in Russia and their ongoing work in providing worldclass services to our customers."

"2009 has been a challenging year but we are delighted with the response to our launch. We enter 2010 looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead as private banking continues to grow in Russia," Solodovnikova added.

The winners of Spear's Russia Wealth Management Awards 2009 were announced at the Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow. It is the first specialised Awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of professionals and firms from private banking, wealth management and related industries in Russia. Spear’s Russia Wealth Management Awards is organised by tradition and analogy with the award ceremony annually held in London by Spear’s UK.
