HSBC Private Bank wins Best Wealth Manager for Alternative Investments
13 May 2010
Readers of FT Money and Investors Chronicale Magazine have voted HSBC Private Bank as "Best Wealth Manager for Alternative Investments". The FT/IC Wealth Awards are unique because they surmise the verdicts of one of the most financially literate and affluent groups in the UK.
The awards are based on the votes of the Financial Times and Investors Chronicle magazine readers, a panel of judges, performance data and interviews with investment managers. Readers of the FT and IC were asked to assess their wealth managers on a range of criteria, such as performance, fees, range of investment options and tax solutions, trustworthiness and general competence.
The 'Best Wealth Manager for Alternative Investments' award is for the wealth manager that the voters believe offers an outstanding alternative investments service. Alternative investments include non equity-based assets such as art and antiques and also equity-based investments such as structured products, hedge funds and private equity. Other nominees included were Bestinvest and Close Asset Management.
