HSBC Private Bank adds Senior Investment Professional to West Coast Private Banking Team
HSBC Private Bank, a division of HSBC Bank USA, N.A., today announced that Richard Slinn has joined its San Francisco office as head of investments for the West Coast. He reports to Nancie Dupier, head of the private bank investment group for the Americas and to Edmond Carton, head of HSBC Private Bank for the West Coast. In his new role, Slinn will support HSBC’s relationship managers and clients by helping to shape and communicate the institution’s global market outlook, and provide investment specialist services to serve individual client needs. He will work closely with the private bank’s relationship managers throughout the West Coast as well as the bank’s investment teams.
“Richard brings more than 16 years of investment experience which will further strengthen our service offering,” Carton said. “Our West Coast team comprises industry veterans and Richard's skill set is of great complement to their expertise. Our clients will benefit from our roster of private bankers.”
Prior to joining HSBC, Slinn was a managing director and portfolio manager at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management and served as a portfolio manager at a Forbes 400 family office. He holds a Master's in international affairs with a concentration in finance and policy analysis from Columbia University and a BA with honours from UC Santa Barbara.
