Financial magazine Banker Middle East awarded HSBC Middle East the prestigious accolade of 'Best Private Bank' at its annual industry awards ceremony on 16 May.

Stephen Richard Evans, CEO Lower Gulf for HSBC Financial Services (Middle East) Limited, received the award certificate and crystal trophy on behalf of the Private Bank at the ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton in Bahrain.

“We are delighted to receive this award,” said David Rice, COO, Middle East and North Africa, HSBC Private Bank. “This accolade is a tribute to the continuing hard work and dedication of our team and we look forward to building on this success in the future.”

The shortlist of award candidates was drawn up by a panel of experts selected by Banker Middle East. Each institution was then invited to submit a short article on why they felt that they should win, and the final decision was made by readers of Banker Middle East who voted online.
