Award for HSBC Private Bank's Japan advertisements

Japanese publishing house Nikkei Business Publications (BP) has honoured HSBC Private Bank with the prestigious Nikkei Venture Advertising Award for two of its print advertisements. The annual advertising awards ceremony took place on 20 April in Tokyo.

Now in its 11th year, the Nikkei BP Advertising Awards recognise outstanding advertisements that have appeared throughout the year in Nikkei BP's 44 business publications in the finance/business, IT/computers, healthcare/medical, nature/environment (including the Japan version of National Geographic) and architecture/construction sectors. The judging panel comprised 11 representatives from the business, advertising, consulting and education areas. HSBC Private Bank won the award in the Nikkei Venture publication category.

Nikkei Venture is a publication targeted at top executives and business owners on business management and expertise. In comparison to other business publications in Japan, Nikkei Venture has the highest percentage of top management readership at 73 percent. HSBC Private Bank’s two advertisements were published in the 2004 July and December editions.

HSBC Private Bank was the only financial services company that won an award in all categories this year.
